A New Blogger's Review of Stephane Kerwer's Dukeo.com Website for Making Money Online

A New Blogger's  Review of Stephane Kerwer's Dukeo.com Website for Making Money Online

Hi! My name is Sharon Kaye and I am new to blogging.  Yup I admit, my blog is just the basic words because I have no idea how to add the plug ins and all the other goodies.

I originally created the blog to be a pretty representation to provide people with free, simple "exercises in love" that they could use to help re-connect lovingly to themselves and also use it to be able to reach out to others in a loving manner through building a sort of online community.  Well, as you can see, it is far from that.

So when I got Ste Kerwer's email about making money online I went ahead and opened it even tho my initial intent of the blog was not to make money.

I expected to see some pretty eye-gouging priced materials, a hyped up, contractual monthly obligation.  I mean, how many times a day do you get an email promising to make you an internet success? So I clicked on his blog here http://dukeo.com/ and noticed lots of info for FREE!

As you can see, my own blog is a struggle for me technically. I looked at Google's help links in my blog, but when I read the details, I was only more confused and frustrated. It had me so baffled, in fact, it held me back in posting, since I was embarrassed about my lack of knowledge and had no idea of a direction to turn to for help.

I now consider myself lucky to have gotten the email from Stephane Kerwer who calls himself Ste.  His website, http://dukeo.com/ provides tips on EVERYTHING you need to know to make an effective online presence.

The site is clean, organized and easy to navigate with lots of free information properly highlighted and with WORKING CONNECTIONS to "How to Start A Blog" and WORDPRESS SEO.  Various other links are for an email opt in and all kinds of little details like the 8 things not to do on your site, etc. Every click takes you to something relevant, explained in easy to understand terms, with LOADS of detailed info in order to obtain your goal--a beautiful, popular,  working presence that will create a source of income.

For starters, when you sign up for his email program, he ASKS you what your greatest challenge is before he starts emailing you all kinds of irrelevant info.  This is a great benefit in that you get emails that help you overcome your particular challenge and then you can move forward from there.

When you click on How to Start a Blog, you are provided with a step by step process, laid out in an easy to understand format, with parts of it highlighted to help your mind sort through the different levels of information .  I was inspired by the this; it seemed so simple!

From generating the basic idea of the website, to obtaining the domain name and hosting, Ste walks you through the all the steps, with screenshots, so it is easy for you to reproduce a beautiful WORKABLE blog that segments you from your competition.  And I agree with him that you want to make your site look unique from all the other competitors doing the same or similar thing.

What I really love, is this:  he explains common pitfalls, like the importance of using one context of your domain name throughout your interactions online. AND he explains how to avoid many other pitfalls at the outset of setting up your blog; so all the information is EXTREMELY VALUABLE and could actually be a course for which he could charge.   Actually his How to Start a Blog is better than a website class I took at a local community college.  Yes, I am embarrassed to say, I took a class and my site still looks like this!

Ste also lists how to perform EFFECTIVE SEO on all levels.  He takes you from the introductory lessons on up to Medium and Expert levels.  Once again, every term is explained in a manner you can understand with directions on how to implement the actions necessary.  Believe me, you will thank him for teaching you how to do your own SEO.  There are so many sharks selling SEO and then disappearing.

He provides a seperate booklet on Pinterest, a social media site which everyone seems to be generating a ton of traffic from, and I can't wait to read that.  Finally, he has ALL kinds of tips in the lower, right margin free of charg:  how to organize your day, common misspelled words (I think I should make a note of that)--ALL the things you need to know before you blog.  Even the proper time of day to post!

So, who is this, Ste, anyway?  After reading the loads of detailed info on his blog, I had to know more, and you know what?  I  discovered Ste was much like me, a person who had gone thru some setbacks, but never gave up.  But, HE PERSEVERED! And, he is not only living the life of his dreams, but also helping others and supporting others in living theirs.

THANK YOU, Ste, for persevering and for sharing your knowledge.  I am now able to implement changes on my blog, and I know I will reach and help more people with my blog, thanks to the info you provided.

If you want to create your website or blog, or even if you have your own blog or website already,  I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, his information.  (I had a website a couple of years ago but my IT person quit and the only way to get it fixed was to shell out another 2000 dollars.)

With Ste's info you can also update your info yourself so you don't have to depend on other people to do it for you.  With the right SEO, plug-ins and even how to use Pinterest to create a massive following, you will be creating a great online presence within a short amount of time.

Oh and there is one bad thing about Ste's website: it won't organically grow the site via the push of a button plug in like I need it to!  Can you possibly work on that for me? :)

I'm posting his site contest here http://dukeo.com/review-contest/. Good luck, fellow bloggers!  Gotta run so I can fix my blog!  Thanks again Ste!

Embrace Yourself in the Beauty & Love of Nature

Embrace Yourself in the Beauty & Love of Nature

Today, a friend and I went for an early morning walk in the brisk morning breeze.  It was a spontaneous walk and we were trying to catch-up to a couple of others who left a few minutes earlier.  As we walked, we kept being delayed by house cats following us, which were supposed to have been inside the house :)

So we finally gave up on our break neck speed and decided to notice our surroundings.  As we passed beyond the house and into the open field, we noticed four deer enjoying the morning breeze.  Their love and concern for each other makes them sensitive to their surroundings.  They noticed us; one of them snorted, and they burst further up into the open space.  It was beautiful watching them frolick thru the range, securing a distance which made them feel safe.

Continuing on our way, I saw many young cactus clusters growing in the recently cleared land; and even though some of the cedars had been cut down to preserve the water from the advanced drought, young ones were cropping up in their place :)

When we reached the walking path, the others were coming back from their destination and were crossing our path as we ventured out.  The brisk air started blowing faster as we got closer to the turning point; even so, we continued on our journey, admiring nature all around us.

Decide today, to get yourself out into nature and notice all the new plants, animals and sounds that are their for your enjoyment.  If you feel inspired, go someplace that especially interests you, a destination spot close to where you live.   Be sure to remember to breathe deep as you walk and possibly meditate somewhere at your destination.

Make this a regular practice and sense the love of nature's surroundings, plants and animals alike.  Take photos of the things you notice, preserving it for yourself and to share with others when you like!

Add your comments and share any of nature's treats here with me!

Share the love!

Music and Raising Your Love Frequency

Hi Everyone! Back to blogging!

Let's generate love in ourselves and the universe by listening to inspiring music.  Find music that YOU love and maybe even sing and dance to it!

Be sure to pick something that inspires you and maybe even experiment by listening to some new genre to take you to the next inspired level :)

I have been known to listen to a lot of singers backed up by orchestras (any singer is interesting to me).  After I listened to that for a few months, I was drawn to opera.  I don't expect many people to listen to operah (heh, heh).  You will know what is right for you.

Do experiment, though!  You would be surprised how it enables you to bring new things into your life!  Oh, and I do recommend thesixtyone.com where you can check out some really new music with a very high frequency and both relaxing and inspiring!

Here is the link to a variety of  music from heart centered to water and air http://www.thesixtyone.com/artist/NoahHornberger#/artist/NoahHornberger/songs/ I found them on twitter and am really enjoying it!  Pick your favorite artist and let me know thru the comments below.

Music easily shifts you into a heart centered space when you listen to what you love!  Remember to share your experience!

Share the love this weekend!

Pocketful of Love

"Pocketful of Love" Exercise

This is a great exercise to do for yourself and others.  Cut out hearts using pink, red, or whatever color appeals to you.  Write a loving note on each heart; for example, I love you; you are my heart's desire; or, for yourself, whatever you would like to hear from someone.

Place the hearts in jackets of you and your loved ones, any pockets of shirts, pants, etc.  You can even place them in various places around the house.  Finding them in pen holders, desk drawers, near remote controls, kitchen utensil drawers, mirrors, etc.  Have fun finding different places to put them.

Then sit back and enjoy the rewards of your efforts as you indulge yourself and your loved ones in various "waves of love."

This Little Light of Mine Love Exercise

Find a candle that reminds you of love or use any candle available.  Upon lighting the candle, imagine the flame to be Divine Spirit's (God, Yahweh, etc) love spark within your own being.

You can use the candle as a focus point for meditation.  Imaging the spirit of love growing within and around you from your Divine Source.

Use a mantra of your choosing or one as simple as Divine Spirit's love grows in and around me; I attract others flowing in the Spirit of Love; I emanate Divine Love, etc.  Use one that resonates with you.

As you meditate, see the loving connection between Divine Source and you getting stronger.  Feel the source flowing in and around you as it grows.  Keep practicing until you feel saturated in the Loving Spirit.

Keep the candle burning throughout the day to remind you of your connection to Divine Spirit.

Please post any comment or questions...

Experience love!

Creating More Love in Your Life in 2013

Creating More Love in Your Life in 2013

Happy New Year to you!  May it be a New Year filled with more love for you!

This blog is for those desiring more loving communication and fulfillment in their lives.  My intent is to create a community for those who wish to practice "love exercises" in order to receive more love throughout the year.

I wish to celebrate your victories and be a safe community for those moments when we are not well received.  We will have fun with our ExercisesInLove in both blog posts and a virtual community.  We can use this connection as a way to encourage each other and be a loving safe soundboard for each other.

I encourage you to post comments of your victories and challenges, and together we can build a loving community encouraging others to expand love in their lives.

By practicing listed exercises, we can grow love in our lives and in the world.  We can share our experiences and help each other to build a loving world around them.

ExercisesInLove #1 Self-love

Before we can really share love with others, we have to create it inside and for ourselves.  Our first exercise is to practice self-love.  Louise Hay, author of You Can Heal Your Life, has encouraged people to practice one simple exercise in order to create more self-love.  The exercise is to stand in front of a mirror and tell yourself you love yourself.  Look directly into your eyes and repeat the words again and again for a few minutes.  The best times to do this is in the early morning, before work and before you go to bed at night.  Making it part of your daily routine is essential.

After a few weeks of doing this consistently, you will see yourself in the new light of self-love.  You will start treating yourself better.  As you do this, you will experience more love in your life.  You will have more love to share with those around you.

Please comment on your success with this exercise.  Maybe you practiced this a few years ago and are continuing it today, and you can share your wonderful, supportive experiences.  If you are having difficulty adding it to your daily routine, share that too and we can create an email reminder community.

One thing to add:  if you have had a negative experience at anytime during the day, you can always slip away to a restroom and practice this at anytime of day when you are out.  If others are in the restroom, pretend you are putting on makeup or you can do it as you are touching up your makeup.  This is a simple and free exercise you can do for yourself in order to make a positive, loving, experience in your life.

Practice!  Practice!  Practice!
